General description

The Vivaspin 2 combines the speed of the classic Vivaspin products with low internal surface and membrane area for superior recoveries from very dilute solutions. Unique to the Vivaspin 2 is the choice of directly pipetting the concentrate from the dead stop pocket built into the bottom of the concentrator, or alternatively reverse spinning into the concentrate recovery cap which can then be sealed for storage. Both methods result in near total concentrate recoveries. Vivaspin centrifugal concentrators offer the optimal solution to any concentration or buffer exchange application with their broad range of volume capacities and MWCOs. Highest flow rates and recoveries are achieved due to their particular vertical membrane design. Incomparably safe sample handling and convenience is assured by the patented dead-stop technology allowing direct recovery of the concentrate without further re-spin.
